With a view to changing and improving the trucking sector around the world

Interview by Startup.info

We talked to Dusty Lavalley of tech startup Trusted Dispatch on how they have made shipping of heavy haul as easy as 1, 2, 3 and here is what he said about it.

Tell us about you, your career, how you founded Trusted Dispatch.

Dusty Lavalley:

I was a professional athlete for 15 years – as my career started to slow down, I was offered a position at a giant company. I was in charge of the logistics and booking of trucks.

I noticed right away how inefficient the existing booking of trucks process was and decided that I could improve it. I quit my job and started to find a way to streamline the quoting and booking process for big semi-trucks.

I now have a fully automated app and web process that instantly quotes the shipping cost and then connects loads with truckers looking for loads.

We haul heavy equipment machinery in all states and provinces within Canada and the USA. We aspire to improve and change the trucking industry around the world forever.

How does Trusted Dispatch innovate?

Dusty Lavalley:

We rely on our customers to indicate to us what they need in our program to make their experience with us even better.
